Within the 2010 JP-Australia product line a new Jason Polakow Twinser wave board is introduced. What really drives the board are “new” twinser fins claimed as Jason Polakow’s own innovative outline and development.

Correct is that the fins are an unauthorized imitation of Maui Ultra Fin’s X-Twin. The product design and innovation was already introduced by Maui Ultra Fins in September 2008. That time one X-Twin set was given to Jason for testing in Ho’okipa, Maui (see MUFins News from Nov. 13, 2008).

With our ongoing success we understand that other companies are looking at Maui Ultra Fins for innovations. It is an embarrassing judgement for a company to claim a proven invention as their own.
